Elephants' march: roadblocks set up to protect people

In order to prevent wild Asian elephants from entering the villages and towns, the local government of Shijie township of Yimen county, Yuxi city, Southwest China's Yunnan province, set up roadblocks with trucks at major intersections to protect the lives and property of local residents.

The wandering wild Asian elephant herd has been seen lingering by Shijie township in Yimen county for a week.
