Bilateral literary ties celebrated

The first Pakistan-China Literary Forum was held on Tuesday as part of celebrations to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

The online event was jointly organized by the Pakistan Academy of Letters and China Writers Association.

Renowned writers and scholars from both countries participated by discussing the literary trends of the two countries and highlighting the need to enhance and institutionalize cooperation and exchanges.

During the event, the Pakistan Academy of Letters and China Writers Association signed a cooperation agreement.

An Urdu translation of Qu Yuan's  famous Chinese masterpiece Li Sao by Dr Abid Sial was also launched at the event.
