Photo and painting exhibition celebrates Tibet's progress in 70 yrs

Into the New Era shows 86 paintings and photos in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet autonomous region. 

The exhibition held at Beijing's Yan Huang Art Museum until May 27 provides a panoramic view of the breathtaking natural views of the "rooftop of the world", as well as the diversity of its history, culture and arts, and the changes brought by modernization. 

The exhibition also shows a comparison between the past and present of Tibet in the past seven decades. 

Held by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition is part of a rich program to mark the centennial of the Communist Party of China.
