An activity inviting teenagers to send good wishes to the country via writing articles, drawing pictures and recording videos kicked off in Beijing on May 8.

The event, co-hosted by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and China Post, will digitally store these wishes in a chip which will later be sent by a manned spacecraft to the space station.

The organizers hope that such kind of activities will guide young generations to learn more about the history of China's manned space program and learn the spirit of Chinese astronauts, aerospace scientists and other people that have devoted themselves to the development of the country's space industry.
