Tokyo Olympic torch relay kicks off

The torch relay for the postponed Tokyo Olympics began its 121-day journey across Japan on Thursday. The relay restart, after the Olympics were postponed by one year, was held at the J-Village sports complex in Fukushima. 

The ceremony was closed to the public because of the fear of spreading COVID-19 but was streamed live. Japan's women's national football team leads the Olympic torch relay.
