China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a news conference on development of industry and information technology in Beijing on Monday. Here are some highlights.

- China's value-added industrial output reaches 31.31 trillion yuan

China's value-added industrial output, an important economic indicator, reached 31.31 trillion yuan in 2020, making the country the largest manufacturing power in the world for 11 consecutive years, said Minister of Industry and Information Technology Xiao Yaqing at a news conference on Monday. China will fully open the manufacturing sector and further enhance the opening-up of industrial informatization to seek high-quality economic development, said a top industry regulator. (Read more)
