In the Year of the Ox, a mountain in Chongqing has attracted many visitors for its "bull-back" shape during the Chinese New Year holiday, as people believe they will have good luck by scaling the auspicious mountain.
Guniubei Mountain, which means "bull's back" in Chinese, is located in Qijiang district. Its steep ridge is as narrow as 20 centimeters and as high as 40 meters, without any guardrails. Standing on the top of the mountain, one can have a very good view of the surrounding terraces.

2021 is the Year of the Ox according to the Chinese zodiac. In Chinese culture, the ox is a valued animal. Because of its role in agriculture, positive characteristics such as being hardworking and honest are attributed to it.
