The city of Beijing is working to establish a big data platform for all the senior citizens in the city as a risk prevention mechanism.
Courts at all levels in Beijing dealt with around 60,000 civil cases in 2020 involving senior citizens, a drop of 24 percent from the previous year, Beijing Daily reported on Monday.
The city said establishment of the big data platform will strengthen communication between different departments involving senior citizens and include data sharing, which will help protect older citizens, the report said.
