BEIJING -- The Red Cross Society of China has given a total of 1 million yuan (about $154,200) to assist the epidemic containment in north China's Hebei Province, the society said on Tuesday.
Supplies in the form of 1,000 tents and 10,000 cotton-padded jackets, as well as personnel to give guidance and assist in receiving and using the donations, have been sent to the province, the RCSC said.
The RCSC has dispatched similar supplies and over 3 million yuan to nine provincial-level regions, including Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, and Heilongjiang, to support epidemic control since December 2020, it added.
