Jiliguala unveils new strategy to help children learn better
Jiliguala, a domestic online education startup focused on early English education, announced a strategy upgrade on Monday to help children learn the foreign language in a more immersive environment.
A new cartoon character was added to its online courses, which feature scenes that are close to children's everyday life, allowing them to better apply what they learn to life, the company said.
More content related to family life will be included in the courses for 3-year-olds as they spend much time with their parents. For kids aged 4 and above, more content related to making friends, sharing, and nature will be touched upon as children begin to step out of family for exploration, according to the company founded in 2014.
Jiliguala has also collaborated with Penguin Random House to develop a series of 72 books and 12 workbooks for young learners of the online platform to enrich their learning experience.
"The courses for young learners aim at not only about foreign language skills but also the cultivation of their personality, behavior principles, and positive values and attitudes of coping with people and matters," said Xu Kexin, co-founder of Jiliguala.
