On Dec 17, Liu was allowed to be discharged from the hospital according to the physical examination results.
"As a surgeon, I felt greatly honored to perform 100 robotic surgical procedures, but it is more important to get trust and support from my patients," he added. "Therefore, I decided to share the cake with Liu and other hospitalized patients."
"Thanks to the encouragement from Hu and other medical workers, I was brave to accept the operation," said Liu. "Now I'm more confident to live to 100 years old."
