Beijing Royal Fighters come back to beat Zhejiang Lions in CBA


ZHUJI, China - With five players scoring double-digit numbers, the Beijing Royal Fighters came from behind to defeat the Zhejiang Lions 115-105 in the 22nd round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Wednesday.
Trailing by 16 points, Beijing came back strongly in the fourth quarter.
Joseph Young's 3-pointer with 7:02 left put Beijing 94-93 ahead for its first lead all game.
Beijing widened the gap to 13 points after Li Gen made a basket from the arc with 3:17 minutes on the clock, and didn't look back from there.
Young led Beijing with a team-best 26 points, Zhang Fan finished with 23 points, while Li Gen came off the bench to add 17 points.
Guard Zhao Yanhao scored a game-high 27 points on 8 of 17 shooting, center Hu Jinqiu contributed 26 points and 11 rebounds, and Miroslav Radulica notched a double-double of 22 points and 21 rebounds for Zhejiang.
Zhejiang opened the game with an 8-2 run and led 29-26 in the first quarter.
Li Jinlong knocked down two 3-pointers to help Zhejiang storm into a 12-0 run early in the second quarter and extended the lead to 60-39 at the break.
Zhejiang had the game's biggest advantage of 64-39 after Radulica made a jumper. Then Beijing answered with a 12-2 run to cut the deficit. However, Zhejiang still led 91-75 going into the decisive last period before Beijing turned the game around.
