Dalian reports two more asymptomatic cases
Port city Dalian in Liaoning province reported two new asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, according to the city's office for coordinating COVID-19 prevention and control and economic and social development.
The two cases are workers at a labor dispatching company named Haohan, where the first four asymptomatic cases reported on Tuesday also work.
The two new asymptomatic cases were found because they were close contacts with the first four cases, and their nucleic acid test results were positive.
They have been transferred to the city's designated hospital for isolation and treatment, according to the office.
People who had close contacts with the two asymptomatic individuals are being quarantined for medical observation.
The office also announced the nucleic acid test results for the community where the first four asymptomatic cases live. All 8,216 people gave samples, and the results were all negative.
