A light festival designed by British artist Filthy Luker and his team kicked off Friday in Beijing's Solana Mall in Chaoyang district.

Luker, a mixed-media artist from England, is internationally renowned for his over-sized and inflatable street art installations. His works have been exhibited in many countries and regions, including France, India and Australia.

Themed "Stay strong, Stay shinning", Lucker designed the light festival with multiple inflatable monsters. When the giant monsters are lighted up, viewers are brought into a warm and fantastic utopia where people can feel they can get away from the real world for a moment.

This is the 13th edition of the light festival held by Solana Mall, which will run until the end of February.
