Bank of China approved to set up branch in demonstration zone of Yangtze River Delta integration

BEIJING -- The Bank of China (BOC), one of the country's biggest state lenders, said it has been given the nod to set up a branch in the demonstration zone of the Yangtze River Delta on integrated development in Shanghai.

The BOC is among the first batch of commercial banks in the country to establish a branch in the demonstration zone.

A BOC official said it will provide better services for major projects and promote the inter-connectivity and digital innovations in the delta region by leveraging its location advantages.
