SHANGHAI - Fourteen designated immigration-inspection channels have been opened at Shanghai Pudong International Airport for the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), according to the Shanghai Airport Border Inspection Station.

Eight of the 14 channels are located in the entry hall at Terminal 2 of the airport, where more international flights land, providing a designated area for immigration inspection to ensure epidemic control and the swift clearance of participating exhibitors and visitors.

Also, volunteers who speak multiple foreign languages will be arranged to provide multilingual consultation services.

A special cargo-aircraft inspection team will also be set up to facilitate customs clearance for the cargo aircraft and crew members carrying exhibits for the third CIIE.

The third CIIE will be held from Nov1 5 to 10 this year.
