Guoan beat Teda for 3rd Chinese Super League win in a row


SUZHOU, China - Zhang Xizhe and Alan Douglas each scored as Beijing Guoan beat Tianjin Teda 3-1 in the third round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) here on Thursday.
Guoan midfielder Piao Cheng left the pitch on a stretcher due to a right-knee injury in the ninth minute, and was substituted by Douglas.
Jonathan Viera Ramos cut in from the left to spot Douglas arriving at the far post to score with a low drive in the 39th minute, giving Guoan a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Teda equalized in the 61st minute when veteran Rong Hao struck a long-drive from the edge of the box, also his third goal in the past three games.
Zhang Xizhe scored a second goal for Guoan on Li Ke's pass on 77 minutes, and the 90th minute saw Lan Jingxuan gift Beijing an own goal, concluding Guoan's 3-1 victory.
Guoan will face Hebei China Fortune in the next round, while Teda will meet Shijiazhuang Ever Bright on Tuesday.
