QINGDAO, China - The Liaoning Flying Leopards moved past the Beijing Royal Fighters 123-106 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Sunday, extending their winning streak to six games.

The two sides tied the game 31-31 at the end of the first quarter, in which Kyle Fogg contributed 14 points for Beijing.

Two teams each buried five three-pointers in the second quarter, and Liaoning managed a two-point lead in the close contention when the first half expired.

Launching a 15-0 run, Beijing grabbed a 10-point lead for a brief period in the third quarter, only to see the Flying Leopards cut the deficit to one by making six three-pointers.

Cong Mingchen and center Han Dejun combined for 17 points in the last quarter to secure Liaoning's victory.

Han got a game-high 32 points for Liaoning. O.J. Mayo collected 27 points, Zhao Jiwei scored 20 points, while Cong and Gao Shiyan had 15 and 14 points respectively.

Fogg notched a team-high 29 points for Royal Fighters, Arnett Moultrie contributed 20 points and 13 rebounds, Sun Yue finished with 17 points and Wang Zirui added 16 points.

"We prepared for the game with two important players out, Guo Ailun and He Tianju, so the game was difficult for us. Tonight the players focused all the time and played really good in the last minutes," said Alejandro Martinez, coach of Liaoning.

"We played better than we did in the last game, but just in three quarters," said Beijing head coach Stephon Marbury.
