Ford's premium arm Lincoln unveiled its second China-built model, the Aviator SUV, on July 8. Available in five variants, the model is priced from 509,800 yuan to 759,800 yuan. Measuring 5,080 mm long, 2,022 mm wide and 1,759 mm tall, the all-new Aviator plays in the league of large-size SUVs, with a wheelbase of 3,025mm. Its rivals include the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Audi Q7.

All variants of the Aviator have a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine and a 10-speed automatic gearbox, which generate a maximum output of 355 horsepower and a top torque of 553 Nm. Lincoln said one of the important features of the model is its quietness. The model has a number of active noise cancellation devices, some of which detect noise and emit sound echoes to wipe it out.

The 12.8-inch touch screen is especially designed for Chinese consumers. Ford's SYNC+ in-vehicle infotainment system enables such functions as natural voice command and mobile phone projection as well as online music.
