Former CBA player Dominique Jones to play in TBT tournament

BEIJING - Former CBA side Jilin Northeast Tigers player Dominique Jones announced on social media on Monday that he will play in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) this year.
"Good luck with that," Jones said in a video clip.
The Basketball Tournament (TBT), featuring 64 teams, is an open-application, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States.
Jones averaged 37.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists for Jilin before the season was suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Jilin are currently seventh out of the 20 teams in the league with 19 wins in 30 games.
The CBA announced on Thursday last week that the 2019-2020 league season would resume on June 20 following a nearly five-month hiatus.
