FINA reschedules short-course swimming worlds to 2021

GENEVA - The short-course World Swimming Championships has been pushed back to December 13-18, 2021, the sport's world governing body FINA announced on Thursday.

The event, which was originally scheduled for December this year, will still take place in Abu Dhabi, with the FINA World Aquatics Convention also taking place in Abu Dhabi from December 10-12, 2021.

FINA also announced that its General Congress, where the FINA Bureau for the period 2021-2025 is to be elected, will take place on June 5, 2021, in Doha, Qatar.
