Anta begins work on sports campus in Shanghai

The world leading sportswear company Anta Sports Products Limited is expected to set up its global retail center of its multiple international brands in Shanghai to further boost its internationalization drive and consolidate its worldwide resources.

The company kicked off the founding ceremony of the Anta Sports Campus at west Hongqiao business area in Qingpu district in Shanghai on Dec 18.

Currently headquartered in Xiamen, Fujian province, Anta aims to build the Anta Sports Campus into an international platform for its resource integration, global talent development and international innovation.

The campus, covering an area of 35,054 square meters, will consist of five buildings and will boasts a total of 6,000-7,000 employees, featuring facilities including innovation and design center, conference zone, sports center, flagship stores, catering and hotels. Anta sports theme park is also on agenda to open to the public.

Ding Shizhong, chairman of the board and CEO of ANTA Sports, said to base its Anta Sports Campus in Shanghai, a global metropolis, is a significant part of the company's internationalization.

In recent years, Anta has focused on the development of its multiple brands strategy to meet diversified demands from consumers of various incomes while expanding to global markets with a cluster of international sportswear brands.
