Today Art Museum kicks off 4th triennial today

Today Art Museum in Beijing kicks off its grand triennial, the 4th Today's Document, today.

Co-curated by Huang Du and Jonathan Harris, the 2019 triennial event is themed after the saying "A Stitch in Time", which means "it is better to deal with problems early than to wait until they get worse". The theme is inspired by the complex social, political, economical and cultural changes fracturing the world, according to the curators.

Artwork by 37 artists and artist groups from 16 countries has been brought together at the show to expose the impact globalization has brought to the world in the arenas of economics, politics and culture. The show also aims to inspire visitors to join hands to build a world that is re-connected and re-constructed.
