China's October forex market turnover at 13.56t yuan

BEIJING - China's foreign exchange (forex) market reported a turnover of 13.56 trillion yuan ($1.92 trillion) in October, official data showed.

Specifically, turnover of forex transactions between banks and their clients totaled 2.15 trillion yuan last month, while that of interbank forex transactions stood at 11.42 trillion yuan, according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

In the first 10 months of this year, forex market turnover totaled 167.38 trillion yuan, showed the data.
