BEIJING - The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has given the green light to the trading of PTA, methyl alcohol, rapeseed meal, iron ore and gold options.

The trading of PTA, methyl alcohol and rapeseed meal options will be launched on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, while that of iron ore and gold options will be launched on the Dalian Commodity Exchange and Shanghai Futures Exchange, respectively, according to the CSRC.

PTA, methyl alcohol, rapeseed meal, iron ore and gold are all major bulk commodities, the CSRC said, adding that the listings of relevant options will further meet enterprises' risk management demand and lower hedging costs.

The securities regulator has asked the three exchanges to make full preparations to ensure the steady operation of the trading.
