We would welcome support from the Shanghai government to further encourage commercial partnerships between Chinese financial institutions and technology firms and UK multinationals. Such partnerships not only bridge and reduce the gap between London and Shanghai financial markets and capabilities, they also support the development of a greater two-way market access and foster product innovation to address the needs of the customers and investors on both sides.
