Bayern reap 3-1 win over Cottbus in German Cup
After the restart, Bayern Munich needed some time to gain a foothold into the second half.
Just when Energie Cottbus grew in confidence, Coman doubled the lead out of nowhere after drilling the ball into the far post corner to beat Moser from 19 meters in the 65th minute.
The visitors' showed no mercy and tripled the lead in the 85th minute when Lewandowski deflected a shot from Leon Goretzka to put the result beyond doubt.
However, the hosts were able to score their consolation as Goretzka brought down Berkan Taz inside the penalty area. The midfielder stepped up and converted the penalty to mark the final 3-1 score.
Elsewhere, Wolfsburg needed 120 minutes to see off resilient third division club Hallescher FC 5-3. Matthias Fetsch's 3-3 equalizer in the dying seconds of the second half forced ten-men Wolfsburg into the overtime.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Robin Knoche and Josip Brekalo provided one goal each to help the "Wolves" to book their berth for the second round.
