With an element of the surreal, much of his work encourages interaction and response. Erlich believes that without the viewer's interaction, there's essentially no art, just an empty frame, a set-up. The creation of his art does not end with the completion of the work, or reaching the end of the exhibition; it can only be fulfilled by the participatory experience gained and savored by the viewers.

Erlich's pieces demand seeing with both your eyes and your mind; visitors may leave the show with inspired ideas delicately forming alongside conventional perspectives, sparking the curiosity to explore commonplace scenes in their own lives in new ways.

The exhibit runs through August 25.
