An ongoing exhibition, which opened on July 14 at the Jingshan Park in central Beijing, aims to promote the Yingxian county in Shanxi province, by presenting the county's landscape, history and culture.

The exhibition, which is due to run for 10 days, includes 43 historical artifacts, and six models of the ancient architecture and Buddhist texts, which are being shown in Beijing for the first time.

The county is famous for its long history, and hosts two historical sites protected on the national level and four sites protected on the provincial level.

It has 104 kilometers of Great Wall built in the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577) and the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and more than 80 ancient temples that date back to Ming and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties.

The county's Sakyamuni Pagoda built during the Liao Dynasty (916-1125) was certified by Guinness World Records in 2016 as the world's tallest wooden pagoda at 67.31 meters.
