Plastic art goes on show at Shanghai Science and Technology Museum

Visitors view an installation artwork made of plastic waste on July 14, 2019 in Shanghai. The artwork made of nearly 20,000 recycled plastic products is recently on display at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. The arch is 17 meters wide and when viewed from a distance, presents an oval shape through a reflection on the mirrored floor. The image is meant to underscore our awareness that the plastic garbage belt formed in the ocean is around us all the time, and a reminder that we should reduce the use of plastic materials.[Photo/Xinhua]
