Quake of magnitude 6.6 hits West of Broome in Australia

SYDNEY - A 6.6-magnitude earthquake jolted off northwest Australia at 13:39 pm local time (0539 GMT) on Sunday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The shallow earthquake, with a depth of 10 km, was centered 202 km west of Broome, a city on the coast of Western Australia, according to the USGS.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii has not released a tsunami warning.
