A conference on President Xi Jinping's thoughts about rural revitalization in China will be held in Henan province from Thursday to Saturday, according to the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

By showcasing how the rural areas of China have transformed and how the lives of people in these areas have changed in recent years, the conference is expected to offer an opportunity for parties and their members from other nations to get to know the thoughts and strategies of the Central Committee of the CPC on rural vitalization, and help the international guests better understand how these thoughts and strategies were implemented by the party committee in central China's Henan province.

The three-day conference will contain an exhibition in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, a meeting in Lancao, a county about 110 kilometers east of Zhengzhou, and a tour to three other cities - Jiaozuo, Xuchang and Xinmi - of the province.

Since 2017, the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has hosted at least eight such conferences on the publicity of Xi's thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for the New Era, including one in South China's Guangdong province, one in East China's Zhejiang province and one in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, to boost understanding and recognition internationally.

These conferences were believed to have opened a door for parties in other countries, as well as their members to get to know China and the CPC.
