Mio prepares an Italian feast

Italian restaurant Mio is gearing up for a culinary extravaganza from June 20 to 23. Chef Aniello Turco is collaborating with two Michelin-star chef Kotaro Noda from Faro in Tokyo to design a special menu combining cuisines from the East and West. The menu created by the duo features dishes like Noda's signature potato spaghetti, butter, anchovies and green shiso and Turco's red prawn salad with puttanesca sauce.

Taiwan Michelin stars to visit Beijing

Two executive chefs, Ken Chan and Matt Chen from Le Palais, the only three Michelin-star restaurant in Taipei are bringing their skills in contemporary Cantonese cuisine to foodies in Beijing on June 15 at the Zijin Mansion restaurant. Both marinated chicken with scallion oil and aboriginal spice and stir-fried wagyu beef with garlic and black beans are must-tries, and the baked egg tart with almond milk makes a sweet finish.
