chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2019-05-16 16:29

Javier Solana, former secretary-general of NATO and current president of the ESADE Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics, shares his views on US-China trade tensions with China Daily.

Solana said he believes the current dispute will not be the end of China-US trade dialogue. He also hopes the two sides will engage in negotiations based on equality to solve problems in trade. If not, Solana said, the global economy will suffer.
