Guangzhou Asian Cuisine Festival's logo is a little like a badge, which makes it a good souvenir. Many eating utensils take the shape of a disc, and the whole logo can be considered to represent people from all over the world gathering to taste delicious food.

The vertical arc in the center symbolizes Canton Tower, which is surrounded by red, green, blue and yellow colors. The logo reflects the colors of the flags of most Asian countries, and also symbolizes the rich Asian civilization. Overall the logo pays tribute to the mutual learning, sharing and co-prosperity of Asian civilizations.

The lamb mascot Yamei forms the logo of the Asian Cuisine Festival in Guangzhou, and features elements of a delicious local dessert called naihuangbao (steamed bun stuffed with creamy custard), reflecting the cultural significance of the food festival.
