Xi to deliver a speech at Beijing Intl Horticultural Exhibition
President Xi Jinping will participate and deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition on Sunday, a top expo organizer said on Wednesday.
Nearly 900 representatives, including foreign heads of state and special envoys from 11 countries, international organization chiefs, exhibitors and horticulture experts, as well as entrepreneurs, financiers and journalists from home and abroad will attend the opening event and watch a performance afterwards, said Gao Yan, chairwoman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, at a news conference.
President Xi also will give a tour of the China Pavilion, one of the main pavilions at the expo park, with the leaders of various countries, before the opening ceremony.
