SAN FRANCISCO -- Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) has become the first air carrier in Asia to operate the entire Boeing Dreamliner family after it took delivery of the first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft, the Boeing Company said Thursday.
Boeing said the latest delivery was the first of three 787-10 airplanes ordered by ANA, the original launch customer of the 787 Dreamliner.
The new 787-10 jet was the 67th Dreamliner to join ANA's fleet of 36 787-8 and 30 787-9 aircraft, the largest Boeing 787 fleet in the world, it said, adding that the five-star Japanese airline is planning to fly the new 787-10 airplane on its popular Tokyo-Singapore route.
