TV drama tells stories of youngsters in big cities

An iconic figure in China's television industry, director Zhao Baogang, has returned to tell inspirational stories of youngsters in big cities.

His latest directorial TV drama, Youth Fight, began its run on Beijing Satellite TV and four streaming sites -- Mango TV, Tencent Video, iQiyi and Youku -- from March 24.

The, the 38-episode TV drama spanning across six years weaves the fates of five young female college graduates, depicting their anxieties and expectations of true love or career success in the rapidly-transforming internet era.

The series stars Zheng Shuang, Ge Yuexi, Xu Yue, Chen Xiaoyun and Wang Xiuzhu.

The filming took five months and the crew toured seven cities in three countries -- Japan, Germany and France.
