Enjoy authentic Piedmontese fare

Italian Michelin-starred chef, Damiano Nigro, is visiting Beijing as the guest chef at TRB Forbidden City this weekend. Nigro cut his teeth in the kitchen working alongside master chefs such as Gualtiero Marchesi and Marco Pierre White. His bold and original mix of the Piedmontese culinary tradition with the elegant and plain flavors of his southern Italian hometown of Brindisi, often impresses diners and critics alike. He will prepare his signature dishes for Forbidden City foodies from Friday to Sunday.

So much Omani flavor to sample

From March 7 to 17, Omani guest chef, Sultan Saif Alismaili, is presenting authentic Middle Eastern delicacies at Greenfish in the Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street. Having spent his career working in luxury hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants in different countries, Alismaili is bringing his signature lamb and chicken dishes to the plates of Beijing diners. Lamb shuwa is a traditional celebration meal in Omani villages, consisting of whole baby lambs or goats, marinated with a blend of spices and wrapped in banana leaves.
