CPPCC National Committee member Li said on Sunday, before the opening of the second session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, that while China's demographic advantage in the internet sector has slipped, technologies in many industries have greatly improved.

Li submitted proposals related to artificial intelligence (AI) for the fifth consecutive year, with his three suggestions focusing on intelligent transportation, electronic medical records and AI ethics.

"There are definitely bubbles, which might not be small, in the field of AI, but I believe it is normal," Li said.

He suggested the State should further strengthen its guidance, establish a mechanism for data sharing and utilization, and encourage all localities to explore and build intelligent transportation solutions.
