Yi Huiman appointed head of securities watchdog

BEIJING - Yi Huiman was appointed Party chief of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), replacing Liu Shiyu, according to a decision of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

Yi was appointed chairman of the CSRC, replacing Liu, according to a decision of the State Council.

Liu Shiyu would be offered another position, an official statement said Saturday.
