The China Restaurant Innovation Conference 2018 Winter Summit was held on Dec 28 in Beijing.

The event featured 40 guest speakers and more than 1,000 catering professionals.

Themed back to basics, the conference focused on how restaurants should react to industry change and how to use data and technology in catering.

China Restaurant Insider CEO Qin Chao, host of the summit, said it is a golden age for catering.

Founder of the Grandma’s Home restaurant chain Wu Guoping spoke about design in catering. He said that building and strengthening brands is the key to successful restaurants.

A list of China’s top catering companies, Top 100 China Innovative Restaurants, was released during the event.
