Soccer caps costs to standardize league

The Chinese Football Association announced to cap the gross expenditure of the league for next three years and salaries and bonuses of players.

The gross fees were capped at 1.2 billion yuan ($174 million), 1.1 billion yuan and 900 million yuan, respectively from next season while domestic players will make no more than pre-tax 10 million annually with a 20 percent promotion for those serving national duties.
