Chinese major financial services provider Ping An Insurance (Group) announced an upgrade to its products, including deeper discounts and one-stop shopping, to provide more customized services and better consumer experiences.

During an ongoing company marketing event till Feb 9, over 1,000 of its products, including insurance, banking, investment and financial technology, will be sold in a package or in a sales promotion.

For example, clients can pay 10 yuan ($1.44) to buy its pension annuity insurance product, or 19.9 yuan to buy one-year of public transportation safety insurance. An online shopping card and teeth cleaning card are available for people who buy their health insurance.

Also, customers can check real-time information about their assets -- deposit, loans, credit cards, gold and insurance policies -- by logging in one company account, it said.

Customer demands have became more and more diversified in recent years. They ask for more discounts and time-saving methods to buy multiple products, which is why the company is working on upgrading its services, said Li Yuanxiang, CEO of the company.

"We hope to adopt technological tools, such as big data and artificial intelligence, to learn better about the demands of clients, so that we can design our products and do marketing in a more targeted way," Li said, adding the method can bring new business opportunities and higher efficiency and will reconstruct the relationship of clients, products and consumption.

During the event, customers also can participate in non-profit events on the company website or its apps. Among these are rural education, poverty-relief and helping migrant workers get tickets to visit home.
