Exhibition pays tribute to ink-art revolutionary

Four Stanzas of Aspiration, an exhibition at the Central Academy of Fine Arts' museum, which runs through Jan 3, charts the development of Li's ink art exploration by bringing together dozens of his paintings from the collections of several public museums and his family.

Li, who was born and raised in poverty, had a lot of sympathy for those who were socially underprivileged.
