BEIJING - The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector came in at 50 this month, down from 50.2 in October, official data showed Friday.

A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction.

The purchasing managers' index for China's non-manufacturing sector came in at 53.4 in November, down from 53.9 in October, the National Bureau of Statistics said.
