MENDOZA -- Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala scored their first international goals as Argentina defeated Mexico 2-0 in their friendly here on Tuesday.
Icardi gave the hosts an early lead by deftly controlling a long ball and playing a neat one-two with Erik Lamela before cutting inside and lashing in with his left foot.
Dybala sidefooted in the Albiceleste's second goal three minutes from time after a Giovanni Simeone cross.
Despite their prolific form in Italy's Serie A, Inter Milan's Icardi and Juventus forward Dybala had previously underwhelmed in Argentina's national shirt.
