Premier Li Keqiang sent a congratulatory letter to the high-grade international symposium on improving the business climate held in Beijing by the Ministry of Finance, Beijing municipal government and the World Bank on Friday.

In the letter he said China has been making active efforts to improve the business climate in recent years, which have gained obvious effects and motivated the market and social innovation.

"China will continue the open and reform policy and strengthen the innovation. The country will keep the same policy to domestic and foreign companies, State-owned and private companies. Meanwhile, it will accelerate to establish a world-level business climate," he said in the letter.

Li said that China is expected to strengthen cooperation with international organizations, such as the World Bank, to meet the global challenge.
