Check out this feat of engineering as an enormous, heavy bridge is turned around.

A bridge, weighing 33,000 metric tons, was swiveled around an angle of 42.3 degrees to dock with other bridge sections on Thursday in Tangshan, North China's Hebei province.

Swivelling a bridge of this size and weight marks a global first.

A spherical hinge, the major piece of equipment used to turn the bridge, set world records in carrying-weight capacity and size.

The diameter of the hinge is 5.5 meters.
