Chinese club offers Dwayne Wade huge contract, reports

BEIJING -- A club of the Chinese top basketball league has offered three-time NBA champion Dwayne Wade a huge contract, reports said.
A report from Chinese portal Netease said Zhejiang club offered a three-year deal worth 25 million U.S. dollars to the Miami Heat star player.
"Yes we have made our offer," Zhejiang manager Fang Jun told Netease on Tuesday.
Last NBA season was a rough one for 36-year-old Wade, as he lost his place in the Cleveland Cavaliers lineup before returning to former club Miami Heat on a short-term deal in February this year.
Zhejiang also suffered a disappointing 2017-18 season, failing to make the play-offs after finishing 11th in the CBA league.
"We are now waiting for his decision," Fang told Netease. "His signing will definitely benefit the team. He is worth the big contract."
Currently a free agent, Wade has had ties with China since signing a deal with Chinese sportswear brand Li Ning in 2012. According to Tencent, the 12-time NBA All-Star will meet with his agents on Wednesday to discuss whether to accept the offer from the CBA club.
